Used in organic glass, polycarbonate(PC), PP, polystyrene and sorts of transparent materials like these as regidity-increasing coating.
Effective to increase light transmission rate of optical cameras made of these kinds of materials.

Coating process
l Pretreatment -> mix lacquer->processed->coating->laying down->drying
l Pretreatment of mental base: removing rust and oxidation film.
Pretreatment of other base: degrease, cleanout,keep surface clean
(alcohol can be used)(thinner usage quantity depends on coating content
and technological requests )
l Coating process:air spraying coating, dipping coating or rolling coating,
Commonly once time is ok, control the thickness of film 15µm max.,(the coating area is about 15m2/kg, brushing coatings 20 m2/kg)commented dosage: 5µm max,
Good transparence, don’t touch till surface is dry.
l Solidifing condition: 48hrs at normaltemperature or 150℃/30 min, or brushing 180℃/ 15 min;
l Container : if it’s hard to wash by water, it’s ok to use alcohol or Propyl alcohol.
Questions and answers
l The reason of inefficient adhesion and resolvent :
1. oil or another leftover on the surface of basis material---firstly clean surface with acid, alcohol or pure water, and then
drying, finally coating.
2. surface is too lubricous --- coating after burnishing.
3. not drying or drying time is not enough -----comments 150℃/30 min, or brushing 180℃/ 15 min; If workpiece is big or the
workplace is not right for drying, comment to use hot wind out of blower or big power bulb to irradiate for 60min.
l Bulbs appears on the surface: temperature increases too fast while drying after coating----on standing for 10 minutes or flash
evaporation.
l Too high viscosity: it’s normal, dilute according to practice before using.(thinner is alcohol or Propyl alcohol).
l Coating falls off when bending: the coating material is fragile, frequient bending or dropping temperature suddenly will cause
coating fall down.
Package and storage:
l Sealed Plastic jar, big opening , easy to mix round.
l 5kg, or 25kg/package
l Storage in shadow, ventilation, dry place, sealed, avoiding sunshine and away from fire.
l At 5℃-30℃, 6 months shelf life |
